Albany State Golden Rams Albany State is the defending SIAC champion and was rewarded with a trip to the NCAA Division II tournament in 2021, falling to West Georgia in the first round to end the season at 10-2. They’ve been widely predicted once again to win the conference’s East Division title - with returning junior quarterback Dionte Bonneau named the Preseason Offensive Player of the Year.
