The Color of STEM has joined the USA Science & Engineering Festival again to inspire, encourage and prepare our nation’s youth for today and tomorrow’s Science Technology Engineering and math (STEM) careers. The Festival is the largest national science and engineering festival in the United States, more than 365,000 attendees participated in 2016.

Your partnership provides an opportunity to promote science careers, build brand awareness and relationships with future STEM Game-Changers on multiple platforms. It’s vital that we encourage our youth to pursue careers in STEM by celebrating science the same way we celebrate celebrities, professional athletes and entertainers.

Participation

By participating as a 2018 Color of STEM Pavilion partner of you will be aligned with over 3,000 hands-on exhibits from the world's leading scientific and engineering societies, universities, government agencies, high-tech corporations and STEM organizations that recognize the importance of a STEM education.

The Pavilion

The Pavilion will include exhibit booths, stage presentations, speakers, a Networking Hang Out Suite and inter-active STEM projects. The Pavilion provides an excellent opportunity for our partners to promote STEM careers, educational pathways and mentoring opportunities while engaging students, parents and educators.

Brand Extension

Your partnership provides brand extension opportunities through the distribution of our television series entitled “The Color of STEM”. Allison Seymour, Washington, D.C.’s Award Winning Fox News Anchor hosts the series.

The series will be available in January 2018 with 13 shows that will include promotion of the USA Science & Engineering Festival and the Color of STEM Pavilion. By January 2018 we expect to be available in more than 20 million households including the Caribbean and Canada. The series will also be available on our digital platform and mobile devices.

2018 Color of STEM Pavilion and Media Partnership

“The Color of STEM” has joined the USA Science & Engineering Festival again to inspire, encourage and prepare our future Game-Changers for today and tomorrow’s STEM careers. The Festival is the largest National Science and Engineering Festival in the United States. The Festival is a biennial event that is held in Washington, D.C. and will return April 6th-8th, 2018.

As a result of the Festival’s outstanding success, Project STEM created two special events during the 2016 Expo: The Color of STEM Science and Engineering Pavilion and the Project STEM Awards. Both events will return in 2018.

The 2018 Color of STEM Pavilion

The Pavilion will provide a solution-based experience that will educate participants of all ages and the next generation of scientists and engineers. The Pavilion will include exhibit booths, stage presentations, speakers, a Networking Hang Out Suite and inter-active STEM projects that will be viewed by hundreds of thousands of students and professionals. The Pavilion will provide an excellent opportunity for our partners to promote STEM careers, educational pathways, employee recruitment and mentoring opportunities while engaging students, parents and educators.

• The Color of STEM Pavilion will again be the backdrop for our live streaming (World Wide Web) coverage of the Festival.

Television remote location

The Color of STEM television remote location for the Festival will provide a platform for our sponsor-partner interviews, sponsor promos, video profile features and participant testimonials from the Walter E. Washington Convention Center Expo floor. (Highlights will also be available On-Demand on our digital site).

“The Color of STEM" is an informative magazine formatted profile series featuring STEM personalities and STEM careers. The series will also showcase those organizations and government agencies that support and encourage our nation’s youth in science and engineering careers.

By January 2018 we expect to be available in more than 20 Million Households including the Caribbean and Canada. The series will be available on our digital platform and mobile devices. The series will also be carried by a number of Science Centers across the country.

    The Color of STEM Science and Engineering Pavilion will be at the 2018 USA Science & Engineering Festival Expo that will take place April 2018 at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington, D.C. Our Pavilion will provide a solution based approach with opportunities for recruitment and engagement for our sponsor-partners.
    The experience will include exhibit booths, a presentation stage, speakers and inter-active STEM projects to be seen by hundreds of thousands of participants over this 3-Day event. The Color of STEM Pavilion will also be the location for interviews that will be streamed live on our digital platform and mobile devices and will also be available On Demand. Host City
    The Nations Capital…Washington, D.C. will host the 2018 USA Science & Engineering Festival for the 5th time. Over 350,000 festival participants will converge on the Nation’s Capital to take part in this exciting event (Free).

    Estimated Expo Attendance

    (April 6th-8th 2018) Celebrate Science at the 5th USA Science & Engineering Festival, the largest STEM education event of its kind in the United States. The 2018 Festival attendance is expected to exceed 350,000 again over the 3-day event. Over 1,000 leading STEM organizations will present hands-on science and engineering activities for people of all ages. The event is free of charge.
